Afternoon tea fundraiser
Sunday 26th April 2026, Doddinghurst Village Hall
We warmly invite you and your friends and family to join us for afternoon tea on Sunday 26th April in support of Wallace Kennels dog rescue.
Our menu comprises a selection of classic sandwiches, freshly baked scones, savoury treats and cakes. Vegetarian and gluten free option available on request.
Tickets: £20 per person. (Booking link will be available here soon.)
Raffle and tombola during event (tickets £1, please bring cash!).
Important information:

- Ticket sales will close on 24 April (unless tickets are sold out sooner) to give us time to finalise the seating plan.
- Guests aged 12 years + only please.
- All food will be prepared in home kitchens and we cannot guarantee that it will be suitable for persons with food allergies.
- Tables will seat approximately 6-8 guests. If you are purchasing a smaller number of tickets, you will be seated with other guests. Large parties might need to be seated across two tables.
- The seating plan will be displayed inside the hall.
- Tickets cannot be refunded but you can pass onto others if you cannot make it. Please notify us so we can update the guest list.

I just want to say how much I and my family enjoyed the afternoon tea at Blackmore today. So much work went into making it so successful and you are all to be congratulated.
I would like to say how much I and my two friends enjoyed the tea party at Blackmore Hall on Sunday. We were all very impressed by the food, the tea, and the “waitresses” and the whole afternoon. Thank you for all your efforts.
…what a brilliant time we had. The food was amazing and we were so stuffed after eating and drinking so much tea. It was very well organised and everyone helping was really kind and friendly.
